Mother’s Day is right around the corner, so I’m sure you’re either looking for gift ideas for mom or your family is thinking of how they can give you a special day. Personally, I have never been one to pay much attention to expensive gifts and my family knows that experiences are more my style. One Mother’s Day years ago, we took a trip to the beach along with my own mami, and to date, it has been one of my most memorable Mother’s Day! Give Mom the Gift of Me-Time
I believe you’d be hard-pressed to find a mom that wouldn’t appreciate a little extra me-time! With how busy our lives are, me-time often feels like a precious and rare commodity. So how can you ensure your loved one has a wonderful Mother’s Day full of me-time? It’s simple. Grab a few items from your local JCPenney and package them up into a lovely me-time gift mom will love. Check out a few of the finds I found for myself (yes, you can gift yourself too!) during my last JCPenney shopping trip!
For the Bath
It has been far too long since I’ve treated myself to a tub bath. In fact, we moved into our new home almost 1 1/2 years ago and would you believe I have yet to use our master bathtub? It’s absolutely ridiculous and I intend to fix that this weekend. That special mom in your life would love a bath package with a brand new comfy bath towel, fragrant soap, and other bath essentials. The JCPenney Home line has some great, affordable bath towels in a variety of colors; I chose a couple of on-trend colors (bright purple and pink) to help brighten up my bathroom space in time for summer! You can also pick up a new soap in mom’s favorite scent within the beauty section or store located inside many JCPenney stores. Add a scented candle and other bath essentials (i.e., body brush, bath sponge, bubble bath) and you’ll have completed a wonderful me-time bath gift for mom!
For Some Quiet Time
After mom has completed her (long) bath, some comfy pajamas will surely be welcome. Or you can get her favorite style of sleepwear, whether it’s a cute pajama set or a pretty chemise. You’ll find SO many varieties and trendy styles at JCPenney! The important thing is for mom to be comfortable and relaxed. Pair it with a new journal, so mom can sit and reflect on her day and you’ll have truly mastered giving mom the gift of me-time! How’s that for value and thoughtfulness? It really does sound like a wonderful couple of hours and I’m looking forward to treating myself to a relaxed evening with my new finds from JCPenney!
