Mother’s Day is this Sunday – do you still need some last-minute gift ideas? I recently had the opportunity from Ross to take a Mother’s Day shopping adventure with my little monkey. At two-years-old, he still doesn’t really understand the concept of Mother’s Day, but I was curious to see if he would pick out anything in particular. We looked at each department, and while it can be a little overwhelming, there are a lot of great options for the moms in your life. On the other hand, you can do what I did and gift yourself a little something – I gave myself a nice shirt and coordinating shoes! I was surprised to see the large variety of jewelry and popular brands of fragrances available at Ross! While those options are wonderful, if you have a gardener to shop for, they also have lots of beautiful garden decor. If you just like to keep it simple with a nice bouquet of flowers or a nice plant (like an orchid, rose, etc), stop by and pick up a beautiful planter. They have them in an array of sizes, shapes, and colors.

With the assortment of photo frames offered at Ross, it’s probably not a bad time either to gift a picture of your family or the grandchildren to those special moms – grandma (or abuela as we call her) will love it! And if she’s a seasoned traveler, maybe you’ll want to get mom a trunk to store the mementos from her trips. Ross even has those small calming water features that can help the mom in your life de-stress. Or, why not help mom start off the summer with a new look by getting her a bag in a dazzling summer color? Don’t forget to get a matching wallet too!
