Remember when you were young and newly in love? You probably spent a lot of time writing letters to your loved one or maybe even poems. I’m sure you also constantly shared all the wonderful things you liked about each other. Somehow, that seems to start fading after life and parenting takes over. But, it doesn’t have to be that way! Though you certainly don’t have to wait for Valentine’s Day, it is a great opportunity to seize the moment.

Go back to those days when you “put your heart to paper” and grab a Hallmark card to fill with all you want to tell your partner. When you visit a local Hallmark Gold Crown store, you’ll see that there’s a lot of options from which to choose – everything from the cutesy and humorous, to the romantic and tongue-in-cheek. Hallmark even has Spanish cards for those of you who may prefer to express your love in another language. Read on for how I plan to share the love this Valentine’s Day and to learn how you could possibly win a $250 gift card!

I know that this Valentine’s Day, I’ll be taking the time to be sure I let my husband know (in writing) why he’s still the man I choose. Though he’ll say he doesn’t do anything for recognition, I know it’s nice to hear that you’re appreciated and that your gestures mean something. Small or grand, gestures can say a lot in love. So, I’ll be sharing little tidbits with him like, “I love that you know to bring milk with my PB & J sandwich,” and “I love that you can always make me laugh…even in the hard times.”

Of course, Valentine’s Day is a great time to share your thoughts with all the special people in your life, like your kids! Letting your children know they’re loved is super important; giving them a card full of love makes a wonderful Valentine’s surprise. Really, this works for any special someone in your life!

    Because my husband and I will be a few miles apart this valentines, this is the most perfect time to show my love on paper. Though I often do this because I love to write, I know everyone loves to hear great things about themselves. My husband is the funniest guy I know. Can turn any situation into a laughfest!!!

    I love getting super creative with the way that I make the cards. I always love sharing a favorite memory of mine from the year with the person that I send my Valentine’s Day Card to. Then I just spend the day getting super artsy and craftsy.
