I love holiday traditions and try to share cultural traditions with my children from my own childhood. But, some traditions are born with new generations and my daughter has started a new Christmas tradition of her own. For the past two years, she’s asked for new holiday or winter pajamas she can wear on Christmas Eve. It’s simple, but super cute. This year, she brought the whole family in on her tradition, wishing to find holiday pajamas for all of us! Check out the fun holiday sleepwear we found at Walmart, all under $40!
Holiday Pajamas for the Whole Family (Under $40!)
During a recent visit to the Walmart home office, I saw and learned about many winter sleepwear options, including fuzzy robes, thermal wear, and slippers. Living in Florida, though, we don’t need heavy pajamas for winter. So, our goal in finding holiday pajamas for Christmas Eve was just to find pajamas with either a holiday or winter theme.
Toddler Boy Pajamas
My baby boy is at that stage where he’s in between sizes. He can still fit a larger toddler size, but he can also sometimes wear a small boys’ size. This year, we found him a nice Olaf pajama set in the toddler section, with a short-sleeve shirt and pants. While not exactly a holiday theme, it is a winter set; plus, who can resist Frozen’s Olaf?
Men’s Sleepwear
My husband isn’t one to wear a full pajama set, but he did want to join us in wearing wintery, holiday pajamas for Christmas Eve. We found him a soft, cozy pair of Olaf sleep pants, which may seem more fitting for kids than men, but my husband loves Olaf as much as our children. Now, he and our baby boy can be Olaf pajama buddies!
Girls’ Pajamas
To be honest, we had a hard time finding pajamas for my nine-year-old girl. It’s not that there weren’t any pajamas, it’s that there were no holiday or winter-themed pajamas in her specific size. So, we picked out a cute holiday shirt instead, along with coordinating leggings. She’ll be comfortable and can use them for more than just sleeping!
Ladies’ Sleepwear
I love a comfy set of PJs as much as anyone, so I was glad there were quite a few holiday-themed options in the ladies department. My girl helped me pick out a long-sleeved sheep set that reads “Baaaa humbug,” something she found pretty funny. It’s not a loud, over-powering design, which is perfect for my style.
