With Halloween behind us, the holiday season is officially upon us. Though I advocate giving Thanksgiving its proper credit and celebration, I do realize that as of today, there are only 7 weekends left before Christmas! Since weeks go by very quickly when you’re busy living life and taking care of your family, I’m already thinking about what holiday gifts we’ll be purchasing and keeping an eye on prices. Luckily for those of us that are planning ahead, stores like Walmart are providing savings early on; Walmart started offering rollbacks on many hot holiday items on November 1st (yesterday)! - Free shipping on Walmart’s Top 100 Gifts: The Top 100 Gifts are guaranteed to be delivered by Christmas Eve and include free home delivery within the contiguous U.S.!
- Free shipping on orders totaling $50 or more: Regardless of the type of items, you can choose free home delivery if your order totals $50 or more!
- Savings Catcher expansion: Holiday hams and turkeys will now be eligible for Savings Catcher, beginning today, November 2nd.
- Search My Store Walmart app feature: Search for nearly any item carried in a Walmart store and see the item’s availability at that store, its aisle location, ratings and reviews. You can also see availability at near-by Walmart stores.*Search My Store is currently available on Android devices, with iPhone access coming by mid-November.
- Wish Lists: Starting November 7th, you and your children can create a Toy Wish List on Walmart.com, allowing for toys from Walmart’s digital Toy Book to be added directly. Wish lists can be shared socially and via email with friends and family, plus multiple wish lists can be created within one account – in case you have more than one child!
- Checkout Promise: Walmart has promised to have more registers open during peak shopping hours this holiday season, starting the weekend after Black Friday and each weekend after that, through the final weekdays leading into Christmas.
- Layaway: As we previously shared, Walmart’s holiday layaway program runs through December 15 and offers a no opening fee.
- Ad Match: Walmart’s Ad Match Guarantee means stores will match the price of any local competitor’s printed ad for an identical product.
