With my daughter heading back to school in just over two weeks and Florida having its sales tax holiday this coming weekend, you can guess that we’ll be doing the bulk of our back to school shopping this weekend! From back to school clothes to back to school supplies, we’ll be taking advantage of local sales to be sure we prepare ahead of time and get ourselves organized prior to the start of the school year. Luckily, stores like Walmart are thinking ahead as well and coordinating their savings events to match up with your shopping habits and various states’ sales tax holidays in an effort to maximize your savings. Check out Walmart’s upcoming back to school and college savings deals, starting this Friday, August 1st, plus a special online-only Cyber Monday event on Monday, August 4th to see where you can save! And don’t forget to take advantage of Walmart’s new Savings Catcher tool, which will compare school supplies as well as a variety of general merchandise to local competitors!
