With Thanksgiving behind us the holiday season is now officially underway. SeaWorld once again celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration. On select nights through December 31, guests can experience a number of Christmas themed shows to get in the Christmas spirit, SeaWorld style.
The Polar Express Experience takes guests to the North Pole in a recreation of the magical journey made famous in the holiday movie. Once you reach the end of your journey you will meet Santa Claus himself. The train outside the attraction provides some great photo opportunities for you and your family.
O Wondrous Night delights guests with its combination of festive musical numbers and animal puppetry. A small choir entertains with a retelling of the Christmas story that culminates in real live animals recreating the Nativity scene. The entrance of these majestic animals prompted several oohs and aahs from the crowd.
Winter Wonderland On Ice returns once again this year with its usual staple of talented ice skaters performing against a soundtrack of beloved Christmas carols. Holiday lights dance and synchronize to the Christmas music adding to the extravagant show. You will also see lighted Christmas trees that provide a picturesque backdrop to the show. These trees are also featured in Sea of Trees, a must-see attraction in which an array of Christmas trees light up in sync with Christmas music.
SeaWorld Christmas also features Elmo’s Christmas Wish, a Sesame Street themed show that includes several popular characters including Cookie Monster and of course Elmo. The show is an ideal match for the little ones in your family.
The nightcap for SeaWorld Christmas is of course Shamu Christmas Miracles. The show features several different interpretations of Christmas miracles as told by people of all ages. Several killer whales soar through the air with Christmas music playing in the background.
