Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Family, lots of delicious food, and an opportunity to truly reflect on all that we have by giving thanks for everything that is good in our life. It really is a great family day! Being Puerto Rican, our Thanksgiving dinner menu has always consisted of many dishes that are not found in most North American homes. From a turkey infused with sazón to desserts and drinks like flan and coquito, our Puerto Rican Thanksgiving is one I look forward to each year. Since my husband is also from the Caribbean, we’ve been adding dishes from his island of Trinidad to our Thanksgiving menu, making for one delicious Caribbean Thanksgiving feast! Our kids really do get to embrace their heritage in a wonderful way. If you’d like to add some variety to your Thanksgiving menu, check out this collection of oh-so-good Puerto Rican & Caribbean Thanksgiving recipes!
