My family loves cereal. My husband, particularly, could eat cereal for all three meals were it not for his sensible side! He often grabs a bowl as a snack in-between meals or when we’re watching a movie after the kids have gone to sleep. The kids love a bowl for breakfast and contrary to what you might think, they actually enjoy similar cereals to what my husband and I eat – not just the typical “kids cereals!” A consistent cereal purchase in our household is Post Honey Bunches of Oats – they all love this cereal – so, they were pretty excited to try out the new flavor we received of Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate!
This new flavor variety combines the same crispy flakes and crunchy clusters my family already enjoys, but now also includes yummy real cocoa for a delicious chocolate taste! I love that Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate comes from a cereal brand that my family is already familiar with and loves, but now we have a new flavor to add to our shopping list! Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate is already making a great addition to our pantry, providing a fun occasional breakfast alternative, an easy after-school snack my kids can eat pretty much straight out of the box (though I encourage them to use a bowl), and it can even be used to create a sweet treat recipe!
Since chocolate is a flavor everyone in our household loves, it’s only natural that Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate would be a welcome addition. Now, we just need to give this dessert recipe a try because it combines two of my personal favorites – chocolate and coconut! Made with Honey Bunches of Oats Chocolate this chocolate coconut macaroons recipe seems simple enough for my dessert-loving tween to bake up on her own. Check out the recipe from Post below and try it out with your family!
