We may not get many cold days living in Florida, but every now and then we get some cooler days when we feel like we’re freezing, even if the rest of the nation is laughing at us! For us, though, those cooler days mean it’s time to bundle up, cozy up on the couch, and find ways to stay warm. One of my favorite ways to warm up on cool nights is with a nice bowl of delicious soup. I’ve always been a fan of soup ever since I was little and it’s still something I crave whenever I get sick, cold, or just need some comfort food.
In addition to the classic chicken soup, I also love tomato soup, but amazingly, I did not know that it’s common to pair tomato soup with a grilled cheese sandwich until well after I was married! I know, how can that be, right? I did not grow up eating this classic pair of tomato soup and grilled cheese and it was my husband who introduced me to the idea and we’ve now shared the concept with our kids! It makes for such an easy and quick weeknight meal or weekend lunch, plus the kids can dip their sandwich into the soup for a little fun. In fact, you can make a fun night out of it and see what other foods your kids want to try dipping into their Campbell’s Tomato Soup – check out the Dippable Fun ideas from Campbell Soup Company you can try!
