By now you may know that tropical fruits and flavors are by far my favorite. I’m almost always going to choose pineapple, coconut, mango, or passion fruit if I can. Of course, that means I’m a fan of the piña colada, a drink claimed by my beautiful island of Puerto Rico. My girl has inherited my love for these flavors and enjoys sharing a good piña colada with me – something we started when we took a cruise together four years ago!
With National Piña Colada Day coming up this Friday, July 10, she was all too happy to celebrate the food holiday by making our own piña colada recipe! She was surprised to find out how easy it is to make a piña colada and enjoyed adding a twist to the classic recipe. Try our mango piña colada for a refreshing summer drink to share with your family (sans rum of course)!

This delightful piña colada recipe perfectly combines three tropical flavors to create a cool drink reminiscent of all things summer and beach. Your kids will love the sweet taste and if they’re anything like my girl, they’re sure to ask you for a mango piña colada every day!
