Today is Ash Wednesday and marks the beginning of this year’s Lenten season. For those of us that celebrate, we know Ash Wednesday to be a day of fasting and abstinence from meat. It begins a 40-day period which includes 7 meatless Fridays, where again, we abstain from eating meat, though seafood is allowed. If you’re looking for new meatless recipes for Lent or just need some ideas of what to add to your Lenten season menu plan, try some of these simple meatless recipes I’ve shared over the years!
