Our kids have been helping with the laundry since they were about two years old. From helping to load or unload the dryer to folding and putting away some of their clothes, they’ve both been part of the laundry process for a while. Now that my oldest is nine, she is able to help even more, often helping to load the washing machine and set a load to wash. Sometimes, though, she finds the detergent bottles a bit heavy, making it a challenge for her to pour it out. She’s pretty good about it, but there have been a few occasional spills.
However, with the new Purex PowerShot, the process of her adding detergent to a load will be that much easier! That’s because Purex PowerShot, available at Walmart starting at just $3.97, uses an auto-dosing technology that makes it simple for anyone to use – Flip. Dose. Done. Check out our video below to see just how easy it is to use Purex PowerShot!
Purex PowerShot Makes It Easy for Kids to Help with the Laundry!
Isn’t that simple and easy? Each auto-dose is just the right amount for a normal load of laundry, but if you have a larger or extra dirty load of laundry, then it’s suggested you use two doses. The Mountain Breeze scent we received smells great, and you can also find Purex PowerShot in a Linen & Lilies fragrance. I do wish Purex PowerShot was available in a fragrance- and dye-free version, though, for households like mine that battle eczema or sensitive skin.
Be sure to check out Purex PowerShot at your local Walmart or on Walmart.com – remember, a 45 oz. bottle is just $3.97! Let me know what you think and if you believe a product like this would help your kids with the laundry. After all, teaching our kids how to do laundry and helping them be more independent, is definitely something I can invest in!
At what age did your kids start helping with the laundry?
