When baking, you probably normally use parchment paper to prevent your baked treats from sticking to your baking tray. I’m not a huge baker, so when I occasionally bake, I sometimes even use wax paper as lining on a cookie sheet to bake my treats. (I know, I know.) Like I said, I am not a self-proclaimed baker by any means, so there have been many times that I have used wax paper and sprayed it with cooking spray so that my cookies or other sweets did not stick. I realize it would have probably been ten times better had I used parchment paper, right? Well, have I got something to share with you that is even better than your traditional parchment paper roll – Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets Non-Stick Parchment Paper, now available at Walmart! Let me tell you what I thought and more about how they work.
I tested out the new Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets when I made Pastelillos de Guayaba as an after-school snack for the kids. Pastelillos de Guayaba are guava puff pastries and follow a similar recipe as my Strawberry and Cream Cheese Pastelitos. Instead of using wax paper this time, though, I used Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets Non-Stick Parchment Paper. It was great that these parchment sheets were pre-cut and easily fit onto my cookie sheet pan. I didn’t use any oil or cooking spray and was very pleasantly surprised at how well my pastries baked and didn’t stick to the Reynolds Baking Sheets – they slid right off! Once my pastelillos had cooled and I transferred them to a plate, I simply removed the parchment sheet from my pan and had no clean up!
Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets Non-Stick Parchment Paper are safe to use in the oven up to 420° F and one sheet can be re-used for multiple batches. I thought that was pretty cool, plus you can’t beat the convenience of not having to cut the parchment paper from a roll! A 22-count box of Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets currently sells in Walmart stores for $3.48, so go ahead and give it a try and let me know what you think.
How often do you bake? Would Reynolds Cookie Baking Sheets be an added convenience in your kitchen?
