My girl is super into STEM topics and loves to play creatively. She often wonders how things work or how things are put together, so toys she can build with are right up her alley. Of course, this works great for fostering an early love of science and engineering and encouraging her to always be curious. When I was offered a Roominate Studio set for review, I took the opportunity to have her play with it so she could share her thoughts with you herself! Read on to see what she thought and see her video review! Plus, scroll down for the chance to win a Roominate Studio set of your own!
STEM Fun for Kids: Roominate Toy Review
Roominate is a toy that you can build with and create a lot of different things. It’s really cool and was fun to play with! Roominate comes with a motor to make pieces move, which I really liked! However, if you use the switch for the motor, you have to hold it down while it runs. It would be better if you could flip the switch on and off without holding it down. I also think Roominate would be even better by including string and a few other items that are pictured throughout the box and build ideas. That way, you can have everything you need to complete the different build ideas right from the box! My little 4-year-old brother also enjoyed playing with Roominate! When he finished building the fan, he thought it was awesome and wanted to take it apart to see if he could build anything else. Overall, Roominate was a really cool toy and I think it’s great for little engineers! Watch my video below to see an unboxing of Roominate and what I made with it!
