With Mother’s Day being only 8 days away, you may still be looking for Mother’s Day gift ideas for that special lady in your life! This year, you can gift mom with a great gift and support products that are Made in the USA, all at the same time. Walmart has a variety of Made in the USA products that you could easily put together to make a great gift for mom! Let me share with you some of the gift ideas they sent me so you can see how affordable it is to not only wow mom, but also support Made in the USA products.
Mother’s Day Gift Ideas Made in the USA
Though there is a large variety of Made in the USA products available on Walmart.com and in stores, the products seen in the photo above are the ones I received to try out:
- Suncast Corporation Basic Planter: This planter is safe for indoor and outdoor use and costs only $0.67! Apparently, resin planters retain moisture longer than clay pots, so this is a great idea for a mom who loves gardening.
- Plantation Products Seeds: To go with her resin planter, you can add a seed packet for mom. Try a pack of flower seeds (such as the carnation packet I received that costs only $1.28) and perhaps mom’s garden will attract a few butterflies this spring!
- Pennington Cedar Wren Bird House: How cute is this bird house? Made with weather-resistant Eastern Red Cedar, and priced at $8.47, it’s a great addition to mom’s garden.
- Peds Ladies Coolmax Socks: If the mom you’re buying a gift for is a runner or athletic, she might appreciate these Peds socks that are made in the USA and feature Coolmax and Lycra for better comfort and fit.

Walmart’s Commitment to Investing in American Products and Jobs
In an effort to invest in American jobs and U.S. manufacturing, Walmart has made a $250 billion commitment to buying American products. This commitment is already making an impact in communities around the nation, showing communities that have been revitalized and factories built. Where a product is made has rated second only to price in influencing consumers’ shopping decisions, so Walmart knows that Made in the USA products are important to you. To further find U.S.-made products, Walmart is hosting an Open Call event this July for companies wishing to pitch their Made in the USA products. You can learn more about Walmart’s Made in the USA initiative on their corporate page.
